Our Objectives:

2. Continue sending emails to family members encouraging financial support which helps them fulfill their obligations in doing research and temple work. To see what our prophets have said about the importance of this work go to the research tab and click on quotes.

Our Accomplishments:
-Written and published over 10 family histories by various authors
· Held periodic family reunions to share our heritage and renew family ties
· Published semi-annual newsletters followed by frequent email news
· Held semi-annual Officer/Trustee and Research meetings
· Organized as a tax free entity
· Raised funds to accomplish various family organization projects
· Restored and re-dedicated family ancestral grave and monument sites
· Discovered valuable family historical documents
· Employed part-time paid researchers
· Created & maintained a family website
· Conducted Genealogical Research (including a DNA project)
· Completed temple work at semi-annual family temple sessions (over 50,000 ordinances have been completed since 1993).

Our Story:
Winslow Farr Sr. (1794-1865) and his wife, Olive (1799-1893) lived in Lower Waterford and Charleston, Vermont. After joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1832 they moved west, living with the saints in the Mormon communities of Ohio, Missouri, and Illinois. They eventually settled in Utah in 1847. They and their children were courageous pioneers, city builders, farmers, patriots, and loyal church members.
Today, the descendants of Winslow and Olive number well into the thousands and live all across the United States and several other countries. The legacy of Winslow and Olive Farr has left a deep impact on the lives of all their descendants and countless others. The Winslow Farr Sr. Organization is dedicated to remembering them and what they lived and stood for.
